Twist of Fate information/Charter

This is just a brief overview of what we aim to do and be for all of those thinking of applying.

First and foremost, we are a raiding guild, albeit a slightly more casual one than many out there. That said, we raid 4/5 nights a week, with Fridays and Saturdays being our nights off. As a member you will be required to attend most of these raids. We understand many people have real life commitments and as such are flexible if notice is given. Raids start at 7:30pm ST on weekdays, and 6pm ST on Sundays. You will be required to show up ready to go 30 minutes before the alloted raid time. Once in the raid try your best! Raid leaders will be watching over peoples progress and will be there to offer friendly advice.

We use a dedicated Teamspeak server for raiding and any new members will be required to download the client to run this. It is free of charge and the ability to speak is not necessary but preffered. You only need to be able to listen. The guild has a mixture of people from all over Europe, therefore we use English as our primary means of communication in guild chat. A large number of our members are from Sweden as as such fewer restrictions have been placed on Teamspeak. All raids however will be conducted in English. A number of addons are required for raiding with us and new members should be prepared to download several of the most basic for raiding. Advice is available for downloading and setting these up.

We are an over 18 guild; this is sometimes reflected in the nature of the guild chat. As such new members join understanding this. Under 18s join on the understanding that their parent or guardian understands they may be exposed to chat which is of an over 18 nature. We do not accept any form of racism, sexism or any other form of discrimination. Any discriminatory behaviour will be dealt with swiftly and harshly.

Hope all that hasn't put you off! In essence we are just a guild who likes to have fun and this is reflected in the way we play and interact. Friday nights on teamspeak are always lively and fun to be involved in, so go ahead and put in your application now.
